About the project

Transpoco, a transport technology leader in Ireland, recognised their brand and website weren't reflecting their innovative solutions or future ambitions. While successful in their home market, they needed an identity that would help them compete on a global scale.

We developed a new brand centred on their powerful vision: free-flowing, pollution-free transport. This foundation drove the creation of a sophisticated brand system and website that elevates them from a regional player to a serious global B2B technology company.

We partnered with Blend for our company rebrand and the development of a new website, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. The team at Blend demonstrated a strong understanding of our vision and translated it into a brand identity and website that truly reflects who we are and what we do.

The feedback we’ve received on the rebrand and website has been very positive, and we’re confident it will support our growth moving forward. We highly recommend Blend to any organisation looking for creative branding and website development.

Motion-inspired identity

The new brand mark's inspiration came from long-exposure photography of traffic at night, where streams of light capture constant forward momentum.

This visual metaphor perfectly aligned with Transpoco's vision of free-flowing, pollution-free transport. The design was created in two versions - a detailed version for larger applications and a simplified monogram for smaller uses, ensuring the motion concept maintained impact at every scale.

Logo evolution

We completely redesigned Transpoco's logo, moving away from their dated identity which featured a simple pin-drop icon.

The new design integrated the motion-led brand mark with bespoke typography, particularly visible in how the 'c' and 'o' connect. The "telematics" descriptor was removed to broaden market positioning and reflect their expanding services.

Transport-inspired colour palette

The new colour palette draws directly from the environments where Transpoco operates - professional blues that hint at technology, natural greens from roadside landscapes, and sophisticated greys from urban infrastructure.

While maintaining their heritage blue for brand recognition, the expanded palette provides greater versatility and reflects their comprehensive approach to transport solutions. Each colour was carefully selected to work both independently and as part of a cohesive system.

Free-form gradient

Expanding from the core colour palette, we developed a free-form gradient system that gives Transpoco a flexible way to express their brand beyond flat colours.

Rather than traditional linear transitions, these gradients allow for organic, fluid combinations that reinforce the brand's dynamic nature. This approach provides designers creative freedom while maintaining brand consistency.

Web accessibility matrix

We supplied Transpoco with a digital accessibility matrix, offering clarity on colour combinations with AAA-level contrast, to ensure optimal accessibility for all users. This matrix clearly sets out:

  • Colour pairings that maintain AAA-level contrast when used together.
  • Colour combinations suitable for graphics or large headlines, meeting accessibility requirements.
  • Colour combinations that aren't accessible when used together, helping to avoid potential readability issues.

Treated image style

The image style combines dynamic motion effects with authentic transport imagery to bring the brand concept to life.

We provided detailed guidelines for treating both stock photography and creating custom imagery, ensuring consistency across all visual communications. This approach helps Transpoco stand out from typical corporate stock photography and further reinforces their brand image.

Comprehensive brand guidelines

To apply the brand consistently across all channels and material, we developed a comprehensive brand guidelines document for Transpoco. This resource helps them use their brand in different ways whilst maintaining consistency.

Website transformation

The website, developed on HubSpot CMS, brings the Transpoco brand to life in a striking but considered way.

Stock photography has been elevated through careful treatment, transforming standard images into what appears to be custom brand photography. The motion-led brand elements, particularly the light trail concept, are woven throughout the site to create visual continuity.

And while visually impactful, the website is built on solid strategic foundations and best practices. Navigation is intuitive, key information is clearly presented, and conversion paths are prioritised throughout the user journey.

The build itself offers high flexibility, allowing Transpoco's team to easily edit content and build new pages as their business evolves.

The result is a website that's ready for the future - from its brand expression and strategic architecture to its flexible development framework.
